More than 100 global leaders came together in Mexico City from October 22 to 24, on the first stop of the OneMBA Latin Week 2017. During these days, they met with diverse company directors to discuss the economic perspectives and strategies for doing business in the region, and experienced the local culture first hand.
The first session, held at the EGADE Business School Mexico City site, started with a welcome message by the dean, Ignacio de la Vega. The group then attended conferences by Alejandro Dieck, Vice President of Human Resources at Pemex, Javier Reynoso, Service Management Professor at EGADE Business School, Oscar Robles, CEO of ePesos, and Maribel Benítez, CEO of Colectivo Tomate.
The venue for the second day was the hotel JW Marriot, in Polanco, where the leaders were able to talk with Paulo Carreño King, CEO of ProMéxico, Adán Ramos, Country Manager of Rappi, Fernando Castilla, CEO of 7Eleven México, Ernesto González, CEO of Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets México, and Marcela Valdez Faz, CFO of PIASA.
The trip to Mexico ended on Tuesday 24 with a visit by the group to the National Anthropology Museum and Kidzania, before travelling overnight to Sao Paulo, Brazil, for the second part of Latin Week.
