EGADE Business School’s MBA consolidated as the #1 program in Latin America, according to the Global MBA Rankings 2018 of the prestigious ranking agency QS.
“It offers a comprehensive perspective of organizations’ functional areas in a global context and prepares its students to lead, endeavor and make changes to their organizations successfully and responsibly,” stated QS.
With a score of 43.2 points, the MBA program of Tecnológico de Monterrey’s graduate business school surpassed those of INCAE Business School (Costa Rica), IAE Business School (Argentina), IPADE Business School (Mexico), ESSAN (Peru), Universidad de Palermo (Argentina), Universidad Adolfo Ibañez (Chile), Universidad de Chile, FIA Business School (Brazil) and Universidad EAFIT (Colombia), which were positioned in the regional Top 10 in that order.
“This is a recognition for our students our employers and our faculty. It is a great honor and, at the same time, a huge responsibility to continue to face the challenges posed at every level by the global situation,” said Ignacio de la Vega, Dean of EGADE Business School.
At the global level, the ranking, which classified 232 MBA programs, was led by Harvard (USA), followed by INSEAD (France), HEC Paris (France), Stanford (USA) and London Business School (UK).
EGADE Business School was ranked 85th worldwide, above institutions such as Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame (USA), HEC Montreal (Canada), ESMT Berlin (Germany) and Liverpool Management School (UK), among others.
The QS ranking takes five fields into account: employability, entrepreneurship and alumni outcomes, return on investment, leader opinion, and group and faculty diversity.
